Thanksgiving 2009

On Thanksgiving day we had lunch at HPU. Here are a few pictures:
Grandmother and Granddaddy made sure Thomas and Will didn't take off on the scooter they had their eyes on.
Luke, Thomas and Will waving to their admirers!
Strike a pose with Paw Paw!Have I ever mentioned how much I love this boy??Together ~ and not "hugging"! Granddaddy, Thomas and Sophia ~ being silly. And of course Will wanted in on the action.

The boys really enjoyed spending time with Grandmother and Granddaddy. And I'm pretty sure it was mutual!

Muffins with Mom

The boy's Tuesday/Thursday pre-school hosted Muffins for Moms on Tuesday. I was able to get someone to cover my class so I could join them. And GG came, too!Seriously, have you ever seen 2 boys happier to see their mom and take a picture with her? Here's a sweet smile from Will ~ he loves sitting on GG's lap. I'm not sure what Thomas is doing....... I don't even try to figure this kid out anymore! The 2's and 3's sang a little song. Thomas is in the top left corner and Will is in the middle of the front row.GG admiring Thomas and Will's artwork ~ turkey hand print place mats.A group photo ~ the best out of the 5 we took!
And I thought I'd share the worst of the 5. Poor Will and his itchy nose. And Thomas.......... once again, he's just Thomas!

T's Boo Boo UPDATE

UPDATED UPDATE:
This is how Thomas' foot looks one week after getting hurt. The swelling is better but he still can't wear any shoes other than his Crocs and house shoes!

UPDATE:
Here are a few pictures of Thomas' foot 2 days after his injury. It's still too swollen to wear shoes, so he's got a snazzy pair of camouflage house shoes he's wearing!
The left foot is the one he hurt ~ there is even some bruising on the bottom of his foot!A couple of side views...................For some reason the boys found it more interesting to watch daddy than to watch what was on TV.Love that smile, Will Davis! Will felt a little left out while I was taking pictures of Thomas' foot. He kept saying, "Take a picture for me, Mommy!" Who can resist these sweet boys??

Thomas' Boo Boo!

We had quite an eventful morning here at the Stewardson house. It all started with Thomas trying to climb up and get a snack out off of the shelf in the garage. In the process, he pulled the Escalade battery down and it landed on his foot.
Our next door neighbor is a surgical nurse so I called her and asked her to come over and take a look. She recommended taking him in to have it X-rayed, just in case. Sooooo, we loaded up and I took Will to Do Do's house and Thomas and I went to the ER. Luckily there are no broken bones, just lots of swelling and bruising.
Once the initial pain wore off he hasn't complained too much (and it helps that I'm keeping him loaded up with Motrin!) He's still got that cheesy smile!

Fun Fall Afternoon

After church on Sunday we went out to Paw Paw's house and the boys had a blast playing with Gray and Luke (and the dogs, too!)
Gray and Luke gave Thomas a push to get the gator going.Hop in for a wild ride! Will decided he wanted to go along for the ride so Luke moved to the back with Gray.Lookout world, the Stewardson boys are on the loose!Thomas kept a close eye on Gray ~ and the tricycle. He even gave Gray a little push up the hill. But as soon as Gray was finished with the tricycle Thomas took off down the sidewalk! The boys are all really good at taking turns, which is so nice!Hummmm. Which one of having more fun, Will or Daddy? Will's "good" side. Will's not so "good" side! He fell off of a chair and hit his cheek on the end of Thomas' bed. It left quite a bruise!Bear joined Will in the back of the pickup. They had fun playing together! Will and Daddy ~ big hug!

Thomas and Daddy ~ another big hug! (Notice Martha waiting her turn for a hug, too!)

Trunk or Treat 2009

We loaded the boys up in the car and headed to a few houses to trick-or-treat. Thomas didn't believe me when I told him people would be handing all sorts of yummy candy.
Will the Lion was ready to go, too!
The Brownwood Lion football player and the Lion mascot (aka Thomas and Will).
I went dressed as the dancing CiCi's pizza guy. He stands on the corner and dances for literally hours non-stop. I didn't have as many good dance moves as he did, but I still managed to win a $20 Sonic gift card for my costume!
Will and his friend Trine ready to hit the trunks for some treats.
The family ~
Dad and the boys. The look on Thomas' face tells how thrilled he was to stop playing to pose for a picture!
Will was impressed with the hay.
Tristyn the Vampire attacked my little lion ~ but he didn't mind!
Yeah! Thomas loved the ring toss/Coke bottle game.
"What's this, Mommy?" A question I hear at least 20 times a day!

Say Cheese, Thomas!
Say Cheese, Will!
