Boys in Bluebonnets 2010

Ahhhhh, what a beautiful field of bluebonnets. Let's see if we can add a little excitement to the peaceful flowers! On your mark, get set, GO!The boys loved running down the hill ~ kind of reminds me of the opening to "Little*House*on*the*Prairie".

So who won the race? They both thought they came in first, which was just fine.
A BIG hug for big brother.
Say what!? Now we have to sit down and pose for pictures?Yuck! Running down the hill at full speed was much more fun!The traditional "Give your brother a kiss" picture. I wonder how much longer I'm going to be able to get away with this pose........
What a cutie!
So handsome!
Okay, looks like bluebonnet pictures are over for another season!

New Playground!

Thanks to the hard work, fundraisers, and donations we now have a playground at our church! We had a ribbon cutting ceremony to make it official!
Julie Moore, our children's minister, put in countless hours working on making the playground a reality ~ Thanks Julie! The left side of the playground ~ there is a spiral slide that you can't see very well. The right side of the playground.Thomas and Will had the best seats in the house!
They waited patiently for Julie to give her speech ~ right up until Thomas saw me and he yelled, "Mom, I just want to play!"
It's official!

The Cutest Boys EVER

Thomas Samuel IV (4 years old) Will Davis (2 1/2 years old)
Since Thomas was sick on Easter we had to take the traditional "Bunny Ears" picture a week late.
Umm, hello, the camera is over here!
No, not over THERE, over HERE!
Will giving Thomas a "giant" hug!
And Thomas returning the favor!
Will thought Thomas' ears were pretty cool..........
Hey wait, Will has ears, too!
Thomas loves swinging on the back porch swing! And Will, making sure his ears were still there!

Here are some "Bunny Ears" picture from the past!!

Watchin' Cartoons

The boys settled in to watch cartoons Saturday morning before getting dressed. When they realized I was taking pictures they decided they were COLD, so I had to wrap them up in Blue Blanket and Brown Blanket ~ capitalized because that's their proper name, according to Will!

Will Bonked His Head

Here's a big surprise....... Will has another boo boo right in the middle of his forehead! We were leaving pre-school and he tripped over his brother's shoe and did a face plant in the parking lot.
Here's a close-up of his boo boo and his beautiful eyes!
Smiling for the camera!
I tried to get a profile picture to show how big the knot was, but this is the best I could do.
Oh, and did I mention he scraped his elbow, too? Yeah, he was much more worried about his elbow and had to have a Spiderman band-aid.
"I got a boooooo.............boooooooo!"
He cracks himself ~ and everyone around him ~ up!!

Easter Morning 2010

If you're expecting the traditional "all dressed up in our new spring duds" pictures, you're out of luck! Thomas woke up around midnight Saturday with a stomach bug and spent the next 6 or 7 hours "spitting" (as he called it), so we didn't go to church ~ or even get dressed until after noon! Will felt great and wasn't about to be cooped up in the house. He put his red "Tech Tech" crocs and his fishin' hat on and headed outside with the new egg shaped sidewalk chalk from Gray."What color is this?" I told him to blow me a kiss and this is the face I got ~ how cute is he!My poor, sweet Thomas! He didn't feel like doing much of anything. Until..........I mentioned the Easter bunny brought some goodies for them ~ that perked him up a little bit!

Hunting for Eggs at Paw Paw's House

We had a little egg hunt at Paw Paw's house Saturday night ~ here are a few pictures:
Grandmother bought Thomas and Will 6 dozen confetti eggs! The boys had a little fun with them, but their dads had a LOT of fun with them!Uncle Joe was a great sport to let Gray and Thomas break an egg on his head.
Will just stood there and took it like a little man!He was quick to get all of the "sprinkles" out of his hair.Daddy got Thomas good ~ you can actually see the egg pieces and confetti scattering after it hit the car!
Gray wasn't too thrilled with the whole confetti thing. Thomas was trying to figure out how to open it without breaking the egg! He finally took the tissue paper off of the shell and then just dumped the confetti out!
Much happier now that the attack is over with!
Will showing off some of the candy he found!
Thomas was on the lookout in case Daddy found any more ammo!Luke is a very serious driver ~ not necessarily cautious, but very serious! And I can same the exact same about Will!
The girls watched all of the activities from the sidelines ~ this is Kirklyn, Luke's sister.
And this is Geyer, Grays's sister. They had it made!
