Kids in the Hall

I must warn you ~ this video is long and potentially boring. It's pretty typical of how our mornings are around here! For some reason Thomas decided to wear one of Will's bibs for most of the morning. Whatever floats your boat, I say!!

Christmas Morning 2008

Thomas wasn't sure why we were taking pictures of him so early in the morning. Will went straight to his horse and gave it a pat pat. And then he tackled it! Opening presents can be a hard job!But it's much easier and more fun with big brother there to help!Yippie! It's a CARS plate, bowl and spoon!I think Thomas' favorite toy was the Little People Garage. Imagine any kid of Sam's liking cars!
They both had fun looking in their stockings to see what else Santa brought. We had a fun, relaxing Christmas day!

Stewardson Christmas

We took the boys to the local train museum and guess who we ran into..... Santa Claus!
We celebrated Christmas with the Stewardson family last weekend at Honey and Paw Paw's house. I had to help Will get started opening his gifts. But once he got the hang of it he didn't hesitate at all!Thomas knew just what to do and opened all of his goodies. Then he went to share his candy cane with Uncle Josh. Will getting some lovin' from Honey!

GG (Great Grandmother) wasn't able to join us because she had a bad cold, but she sent these cool monster trucks to the boys. Thomas got the "El Toro Loco" one and Will got the "Donkey Kong" one!

Rudolph the One-Eyed Reindeer

Thomas made this cute reindeer shirt in pre-school. The head is his footprint and the antlers are his hand prints. After wearing the shirt for a few hours the poor thing lost an eye. But never fear, at least Rudolph still has his red nose to help guide Santa's sleigh!

Pre-School Christmas Program 2008

Thomas had his pre-school program today and he did a great job! He did all the right moves at all the right times and he sang along with the songs. Will enjoyed watching all the big kids. Can't you see the excitement in his face??
After the program Thomas came by to give Will a handshake and an autograph!

Will is Going Fishin'

We had a busy day yesterday and Thomas didn't get a chance to take a nap. Until we got home around 5:30, that is! I put on a video for him to watch and in less than 5 minutes he was sound asleep in his chair. Well, when Sam got home he decided to put a few goldfish crackers on Thomas' cheek for Will to snack on. Poor Thomas......... that'll teach him to fall asleep around here!

Trains!

Last weekend we went to visit the train display at North Park Mall in Dallas. The displays were very impressive!

Thomas and Will's mouths were open most of the day because they were in awe of the trains trying to breathe through their stuffy noses!

Notice Anything Unusual? UPDATED

I was sitting on the couch this afternoon and glanced over at our Christmas tree. Then I took a closer look and noticed something unusual. Can anyone else spot what it is? Go ahead, take a guess! Whoever spots it first will win a brand new ornament, courtesy of the Stewardson boys!! Just leave a comment on this post or send me an e mail with your guess. I'll update in a day or so with the winner ~ and more pictures of our lovely tree!
Here's the guilty party ~ returning to the scene of the crime. For those of you that guessed sippy cup, you're right! And for those of you who thought it was unusual that the lower half of the tree doesn't have any ornaments............. Well, all I can say is you must not have a 2 1/2 year old and 15 month old at your house! I originally put a few down low but soon moved them out of reach of 4 little grubby hands!
Thomas took it upon himself to retrieve the sippy cup. He said, "No, no Will. No cup in tree!" Thanks, little helper!
The first person to guess right was Deana ~ be watching for the winning ornament in the mail soon! And just because I'm full in Christmas spirit EVERYONE who left a comment or emailed me also had a chance to win. I put all of the names in a sippy cup (okay, I used a mixing bowl because the cup was too small) and drew out another winner. Congrats, Margaret! I'll be sending you an ornament soon, too!
** For those of you that might see my children in the next few days please don't judge them if their clothes are dirty. Their mommy was too busy working on the blog to do laundry! Thanks!
