On the Tube

Thanks to wonderful spring rains our lake is full again!  One of the first items of business: buy a new tube!  The boys love riding it, as long as dad doesn't drive the boat over the waves too much!  They aren't very fond of being thrown off!

Carl joined us on the boat for an afternoon of tubing.  He took his job as "lookout" very seriously!
Love those smiles!

Fandangle

The boys and I went to Albany to stay with the Brittings and go see the outdoor play Fandangle.  It was a wonderful show and we had fun spending time with Keeley and Blake!

Fun with Luke

Luke stayed in Brownwood for a few nights and the boys loved having their cousin in town to play with.  So glad these guys have cousins so close in age!

Sno Cones!

We picked Gus and Fritz early from daycare and stopped to get a frozen treat before heading to our house to play for a little bit.  I think they were a hit!

Fun Day with Friends

I surprised Thomas and Will with picking up 2 of each of their friends for some summer fun!
Grand, Will, Elias, Thomas, Logan and Sam waiting for the rodeo parade to begin.
The boys loaded up on candy ~ and got to give the Chick-fil-A cow a high 5.

Next we headed to Home Depot where the boys built and painted trucks.
A quick stop for all you can eat pizza ~ a must for 6 hungry boys!
Last stop..... Bowling!
All in all we had a great day with good friends!

Funeral Convention / Ranger Game

Dad had a funeral convention to attend, so the boy and I decided to join him and take in a Rangers game while we were in town.

Yes, to most it is odd to pose by a casket, but when your dad is a funeral director it's pretty normal!
The boys loved getting foot massages while we waited on dad.
Our name was drawn to win a door prize.  Ironically it was a gift basket full of baseball themed goodies!
Texas Tech night at the Texas Rangers game!  The boys ran into the Masked Rider ~ she didn't have her horse with her, though.
