Christmas PJ's

Grandmother got the boys some really cute Christmas pajamas. However, I wasn't very successful in getting a decent picture of them. Will was in a grumpy mood by the end of the picture taking!

Needless to say, I doubt any of these pictures will be on this year's Christmas card!

Christmas at Grandmother and Granddaddy's House

Thomas and Will were anxious to open their stockings and gifts from Grandmother and Granddaddy. Believe it or not, they were also good about posing for a quick picture first!
The boys found lots of goodies in their stockings ~ then it was time to open the other presents! The play-do game was a big hit.Thomas found new underwear and Will found a Lion. One of Thomas's favorite things were the BIG WASHABLE Crayolas. I'm not kidding ~ he loved those things!

And a giant coloring book to go with the crayons!

Another favorite were the noise making machines from Granddaddy. These have about 20 different buttons that makes sounds varying from whistling, police sirens, various bodily noises, etc. A big hit with 4 and 5 year old boys.
But the best surprise of all was the new Leap Pad Explorers and games that they boys got. They were so excited to get the "IT" toy of the year (even though they don't know that part!) Thanks so much for everything, Grandmother and Granddaddy ~ we love you!

Nativity Fun

The boys and I went to Hereford and while we were there we got out the Nativity scene that we always had while growing up. The boys had a case of the sillies, as you'll be able to tell from the pictures!

Despite all of their silliness I think the boys did a good job setting up the Nativity scene. The last picture of Will especially cracks me up!

Kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast

It is a tradition for the Kindergarteners to have a Thanksgiving feast every year, complete with placemats, decorations, etc.
This is Thomas's placemat ~ he is thankful for toys. By the looks of the picture, he is also thankful for the computer!
My sweet Indian/pilgrim!
Mrs. Stewart gave all of her students an Indian name. She chose "Hair of Fire" for Thomas ~ which is very appropriate!
Lined up................ And headed to the feast (held in the library).
Taking his seat.
Most of Mrs. Stewart's class (I couldn't fit them all in the picture!) The kids were waiting patiently for the teachers to say it was ok to eat.
Chowing down! Thomas had 3 helpings of turkey! He also ate mashed potatoes and some of his green beans, but he wouldn't even taste the dressing.Someone must have said something funny!Thomas got tired of me taking so many pictures. This is him saying, "Quit it, Mom!" I keep telling him he'll thank me one of these days!
