Reunion Parade

Thomas is in Boy Scouts this year and was able to be in the Brownwood Reunion Parade.  He and the other boys dressed up as pinewood derby cars!
Thomas is the car right in the middle of the picture.
Dad spotted us, but Thomas is still looking ~
And looking ~
He spotted us!
Love that smile!

Big Lion 2013

Thomas and Will participated in the Big Lion program once again.  They really enjoy getting to know the high school boys that are on the football team.

This year their Big Lion is Jaylen Bocknite.  He is really nice and the boys seemed to like him a lot.

All dressed up for a pep rally before one of the home games!

Bumper Cars

The boys also got to ride in the bumper cars ~ the look on their faces is so funny!  They had a blast crashing into each other!

Miniature Golf

For Will's birthday party we went to Prime Time in Abilene and met up with his Gray, Geyer,Gustine (and their parents) and Paw Paw and Melinda.  The first stop was the miniature golf course.  We were literally the only people there, which was great since the kids kind of skipped over holes and just went to whichever ones looked fun to them!
Thomas did great ~he got a hole in one!  (Not in this actual picture, though)
Thomas Samuel II and IV surveying the course.
Gray kept a close eye on Paw Paw to learn some of his golfing techniques.

 Dad guiding Will's swing
Geyer got the ball in the hole ~ then tried to get it out again with her club.
Gray teeing off under the watchful eye of Will.........
There goes the ball ~ and there goes Gray!
I think Will was a little excited!
Gustine had fun just watching all of the big kids in action.
Future golf pros!
(By the way, Gray looks grumpy because his dad was in the background telling him to NOT smile)

Will's 6th Birthday!

Hard to believe, but our Will Davis is 6 years old.  He is such a blessing to our family.  Always keeps us laughing and on our toes!

Oddly enough, the last picture is my favorite!

I asked Will if he wanted me to bring cupcakes or cookies to his classmates at school to help celebrate his birthday.  He said no, he wanted me to bring cinnamon sugared pecans!  So I made him a batch, as well as a batch of brownies in case some kids didn't like pecans! ( I checked with his teacher before hand to make sure no one had any nut allergies!)
Another unusual request ~ Will wanted to eat at Subway for his birthday dinner.  My first attempt at getting a picture of Will and Gus ~ Will couldn't take his eyes off his sandwich.  I guess he was afraid someone would swipe it!
So Will decided to grab the ham off his sandwich and act like a nut.  Oh well, I'll try again next year!
And no birthday is complete with out "cousin" Cate!
