Jump Rope for Heart 2013

Thomas' school held a fund raiser to raise money for the American Heart Association.  Thomas worked really hard on his jump rope skills for Jump Rope for Heart.  We are very proud of the hard work he put into it!

Seriously, The Karate Kid has NOTHING on this boy!

One of the skills was partner jump rope.  It was very difficult because both of the kids had to time their rope turning together.  They did pretty good for 1st graders!

Fritz's 1st Birthday

It's hard to believe but Fritz is already a year old!  The birthday boy had to share Paw Paw's lap with Gustine and Geyer.

And with a room full of cousins Fritz didn't lack for help in opening his presents!  

The boys looks pretty excited about his birthday cupcake ~ and Gus kept a close eye on it, too!

Now that's the way to eat birthday cake!!

Gus, on the other hand, couldn't wait to tear into his cupcake ~ and who can blame him!

Luke and Kirklyn helped themselves to some hot dogs and all the fix ins.

I'm not sure what Kirklyn was telling GG, but I'm sure it was pretty important!

Valentine's Day 2013

Thomas' 1st grade class celebrated Valentine's on the 14th.  They had a fun time eating snacks and passing out valentines to their classmates.  I was able to run to his class for a few minutes and enjoy the festivities!

Will's class celebrated Valentine's Day one day late, but that didn't stop them from having fun! His favorite part was getting to decorate cookies with icing and lots of sprinkles!

The second part of Thomas' celebration was eating at CiCi's with our family!  

 Cate (our honorary cousin) always has time to smile for the camera!

Thomas' 7th Birthday

Thomas' 7th birthday just happened to be on crazy hair day at school ~ that's why his hair is spiked in all of the pictures!

I brought cupcakes and juice for Thomas and his friends at school.

Such a good helper ~ handing out plates and napkins to his classmates.

 I can't believe my firstborn is 7 years old!  We're so proud of the young man he is becoming!

 The birthday part was pretty low key~ Thomas invited 4 friends to come home with him after school.  They had a great time playing together and riding every toy we have in the garage!

The boys also had a fun time playing in Thomas' "Shop".  He had to use his special key to unlock it so they could come in.
