Visiting Santa

We took a trip to DFW to do some shopping and run some errands.  One of the stops was at Sundance Square to visit with Santa.
The giant Christmas Tree!
The main thing Thomas is asking for is an X-Box 360, and Will wants a scooter.  It looks like Santa is listening carefully!

Another successful trip to Sundance Square!

HPU Thanksgiving

We enjoyed spending Thanksgiving lunch with lots of family on Dad's side.
This picture makes me laugh!  Goldie decide to spit out her pacifier and cry at the exact time I took the picture.  You can see it falling out of her mouth!  But Paw Paw and Will never missed a beat!
Pacifier back in ~ happy Goldie!
Uncle Sam took a turn holding Goldie and Gus decided to make his baby sister laugh ~ she thinks he's pretty funny!

After Thomas, Fritz, Will and Gus finished eating I got a quick picture of them on the stairs before taking them outside to run around a little bit.

Same boys, different stairs...........

Gus, Goldie, Thomas, Fritz, and Will
This is the whole crew that met for lunch at HPU.  Wanda's twin sister Ronda is seated on the far right.  The others are kids, grandkids, and nieces and nephew's of theirs.  It was fun to all get together for a little bit!

Thanksgiving with Grandmother and Granddaddy

Thanksgiving lunch with Grandmother and Granddaddy was a little different this year.  Grandmother is still in rehab recovering from her broken femur, so the boys and I went to lunch there with her.  The employees cooked the meal and the food was really good!  We enjoyed spending time with them!

Texas Tech vs. OU

We were blessed with wonderful weather in Lubbock to watch the Red Raiders play football.  Despite a freezing forecast, the sun was out and it was a beautiful day!
The Goin' Band from Raiderland took the field!
Selfie from Dad's point of view.......
Selfie from Mom's point of view!

Singing the National Anthem ~ Thomas with a hot dog in hand and hat over his heart!
Guns Up for the school song.
 Love these sweet boys!
A little extra cheesy smile from Thomas!
I like his "regular" smile, too!
Even though the Raiders didn't win, we had a great time!

Veteran's Day Program

The first graders at Woodland Heights did a program on Veterans to honor past and present members of our armed forces.  Will was chosen to represent his homeroom by reading a brief history of the Navy.  It was an honor for him to be chosen and get to represent his cousin Kailtin, who is currently stationed in Japan in the Navy.

Will and Thomas with a picture of Kaitlin.
The kids were encouraged to invite friends or family that served in the military to come to the program.  Our friend Tommy Blevins was in the Navy so he and his wife Judy came to see Will read his speech.
 Will and Tommy (aka Dadaw)

Will did a wonderful job reading his speech in front of the entire school as well as many parents and visitors from the community.  We were very proud of him!
