Trunk or Treat 2011

Thomas took inventory of the candy before the handing out began.
The boys really aren't as grumpy as they look. The sun was shining directly in their eyes and it was HOT!
Carl came with us ~ he got lots of attention from all the kids!
Will's best "Trick or Treat" smile!
Army Guy (aka Will) and Darth Vadar (aka Trine)
Will carefully chose a gold coin from the pirate's chest.
Will wasn't sure about Lisa.......
Will and Chad giving their best mean face!
Will, Thomas and Ben kept their eyes on the fake eyeballs!
Allie and Thomas ~ as cute as ever!

Fishing for candy.
2 Army Guys and a Scarecrow (Gus)
As soon as as the Beatles started playing Will and Gus lost interest in having their picture taken!

Our friend Matt went as a refrigerator box. The boys loved peeking in on him!

The boys loved climbing on and riding in the Army truck with Dad.
I told the boys to give me their best mean look ~ Thomas did great!
I'm afraid I'll be seeing these cheesy smiles for a few more years!

Halloween in Kindergarten

Thomas and his classmates did lots of fun arts and crafts to celebrate Halloween. They were able to decorate pumpkins with markers, glittler, googly eyes, buttons, and fuzzy pom poms. Thomas was very careful to decorate his pumpkin JUST right!
The finished product!
One of his classmates had a birthday on Halloween and her parents brought cupcakes and drinks ~ I think this was their favorite part of the day!Mom and Thomas!

Halloween at KK

I was able to go to Will's school for a little bit and watch the kids sing Halloween songs and carve a pumpkin. They were pretty cute!
"Walking" through the forest............
"Looking" for the ghost.................
"Swishing" thorough the trees...................
"Flying" in the sky.................
STOP!
Will giving himself a hand for a job well done!

To be honest, I can't remember why Will was doing this, but it cracks me up!
LOVE the horrified look on Will's face as Mrs. Manning takes a knife to the pumpkin!
All of the kids anxiously watching the pumpkin carving.

Will got a chance to clean out some of the pumpkin seeds.
He said they were slimy and gooey!
Mom and Will ~ such a cute little pumpkin!
