Christmas at Sundance Square

We went to Ft. Worth for the weekend and took the boys to Sundance Square to see some of the Christmas decorations and visit with Santa Claus.  It was a beautiful day and they had lots of fun!
The sun was in the boy's eyes ~ Will's squint wink cracks me up!
That's a little better.

There were lots of fun, giant decorations for the boys to climb and play on ~ there was also a water fountain that we did NOT let the boys play in.  They would've been soaked!

The boys were not a bit shy to see Santa again.  Will asked for an electric golf cart and Thomas asked for a Crayola Marker Maker.  They have been pretty good boys this year, so I hope they get what they ask for!
Love those smiles!
Santa's elves were handing out stickers instead of candy canes ~ but I don't think Thomas and Will minded one bit!

Will's Thanksgiving Feast

Each year the kindergarteners have a Thanksgiving feast to celebrate what we are thankful for.

The teachers put in an unbelievable amount of work decorating the library with paper tablecloths, placemats and decorations.  It looked wonderful!
Will's placemat ~ I am so happy that he chose to put that he is thankful for his teacher.  I couldn't agree more!  Mrs. Stewart works tirelessly to teach and love my sweet boy every day!
Will wasn't in the mood to have his picture taken ~ too bad!  I'm taking it anyway!
Mrs. Stewart gives each of her student an Indian name.  She chose Old Spirit for Will ~ I think it suits him perfectly!

I'd say he cheered up once he got to sit down and enjoy his feast.  Especially love his expression in the last picture when they served pumpkin pie ~ his favorite!

A shot of his classmates.
Yep, almost everyone is finished except this boy!

Cutie Pie Cate
Will with his cheesiest smile EVER ~ Cate's not sure what to think!
Well, it's cute of Cate, at least!

Raingutter Regatta

Thomas is in Boy Scouts and is currently a Wolf.  They had a competition called Raingutter Regatta.  The boys were each given a boat to assemble and decorate.  The boys should only blow on their sails, they were not allowed to touch the boats.  It's actually much harder than it sounds!
Thomas was chosen to hold the Wolf Pack's flag.
I'd say he's pretty pleased with his job!
Saying the Boy Scout Oath
And he's off!
The other boy took the lead ~
Thomas didn't quite win this round.
On to race #2
Blow Thomas, blow!
He's in the lead…….
And the checkered flag declares Thomas as the winner!
Love this shot of Thomas cheering for a fellow Wolf!
Thomas came in 3rd in his age division.
A boy and his boat ~ and trophy!

After all of the races were finished Will and Thomas had a friendly competition!

Just Because………...

The boys were ready for church a little early and dad decided to take a few pictures ~ just because……..

Will trying to get Speckles to smile for the camera.
Now T's turn ~ not much luck with him, either!
Such handsome boys!

Looks like Thomas lost his shoe and Will is helping him get it back on ~ finally, using some teamwork!

Smokey and Speckles stayed on the porch instead of getting in the middle of playtime!
