T's Last T-Ball Game

The 2011 T-Ball / Coach Pitch Yankees!
Thomas and Coach Chad
The boy is ready to PLAY!

Thomas in the outfield ~ probably hoping the ball didn't come anywhere near him!
While Thomas was playing hard on the baseball diamond, Will was working hard at perfecting the art of opening sunflower seeds by himself and spitting out the shells. He was an expert by the time baseball season was over!
Thomas giving it his all ~ I love the look of concentration and determination on his face!
Thomas taking a swing at the ball pitched by Coach Chad.
It's a hit and off he goes!!!
Waiting to see if he needs to run to second base...........
The base coach giving Thomas instructions. Thomas giving the coach instructions ~ I would LOVE to know what he was saying!!
After a slow start, Thomas really seemed to enjoy playing T-ball this year. He learned a lot and made some new friends!

S'Mores in the Summer

The last night we were at Grandmother and Granddaddy's house we decided to let the kids make S'Mores. It was about 100 degrees outside but no one seemed to mind! Thomas liked eating the "smarshmellows" and will liked the graham crackers the best!

Finding Frogs

The kids found a water hole of some sort that was FULL of frogs. It was too deep for them to jump out themselves, so Kaitlin used a hoe to lift them onto the sidewalk. Thomas was very curious. Notice all of the frogs by their feet!

Will, on the other hand, wasn't about to get anywhere near the frog extraction!
Kaitlin was happy to show off 3 of the little guys. Then she and Thomas put them in the swimming pool to go for a little swim.
Will tried to count all of the frogs. I think there were about 10 or 12 of them.
He was happy to look at the frog ~ as long as Kaitlin was holding it! Thomas wasn't bashful at all.

See, Mom, it's a BIG frog!
Thomas thought it was cool to let the frogs sit on his foot ~ eeewww, no thanks!
Will ~ showing his brave side by picking up green apples.
Thomas was so sweet to let Will have a closer look ~ he didn't even try to scare him!
Love this picture ~

Water Fun!

Granddaddy bought the boys a fun swimming pool to play in ~ they love the water! They both had to have a turn at holding the hose ~
Very impressive display of teamwork!
I'm not exactly sure what Thomas was pointing at, but it must have been interesting!Thomas swinging the water hose ~ Will minding his own business.Uh oh, looks like Will got an unwanted surprise.Love this picture ~ Will wanted the water hose and was NOT thrilled when Thomas wouldn't give it to him. And as you can see, Thomas couldn't care less.
Less than 10 seconds later, the roles were reversed! Will is the typical pesky little brother ~ always doing something to drive Thomas crazy! Will decided to get out of the water for a bit and Thomas decided to dip his head in the pool. The whale sprinkler was turned on full blast and Thomas enjoyed playing by himself. Will was pooped out and decided to rest on the sidewalk ~ doesn't look to comfortable to me, but I don't think Will minded!
