First Day of School 2014-2015

It's hard to believe but summer has come and gone and school has begun!
Will is excited to be starting 1st grade this year.
Thomas is a 3rd grader ~ the oldest kids on our campus!

Love these boys and their willingness to humor their mom and have their pictures taken ~ often!

I had to get a picture with the boys ~ this is my 18th year in education and my 14th year as a teacher. Hard to believe!
Dad and the boys before heading off to school.
Will's teacher is Mrs. Asebedo and we are so excited!  Mrs. Asebedo also taught Will's Uncles Ben and Joe, as well as his Aunt Hilary!
Thomas with his teacher Mrs. Lancaster.  This is her first year at Woodland and we are looking forward to a great year!

First Day Photographs

Along with the actual "First Day of School" pictures, we also had professional pictures taken last weekend. They turned out really cute ~ and of course we had to get pictures take with our honorary cousins, Cat sand Evan!

Fossil Rim Wildlife Park ~ Petting Zoo

After the tour of the Wildlife Park we went to the petting zoo and the kids were able to pet and brush some of the animals.  They loved it!

Will made friends with several of the goats.

Thomas and Cate enjoyed getting to pet (and hug) the animals.
Will and Cate checking out the food situation.

All of the kids stood by the growth chart.  Thomas is the oldest, and the tallest.  Cate and Will are almost tied ~ but Cate's bow put her ahead.  Evan will catch up ~ one of these days!!

Fossil Rim Wildlife Park

We took one last trip with the Smith family before school started.  We went to Glen Rose to visit the Fossil Rim Wildlife Park.  It was a fun time with a close up view of many, many different kinds of wildlife.
Evan, Thomas, Cate and Will ~ ready for an adventure!

Thomas got an extreme close up of one of the animals and got to hand feed him ~ pretty cool!

Will ran off, but Cate, Evan and Thomas were happy to keep smiling!
