Will's Stitches

Well, Will made it 8 years and 11 months before having to have stitches!  We went out to the lake to swim and meet the new coaches and their families.  Will was going up the stairs on the  Moore's dock and there was a small piece of sheet metal sticking out.  Out of the hundreds of trips kids and adults have made up those stairs, of course it's Will that's going to be the one that cuts himself!

When he cut his arm he climbed back down the stairs, jumped in the lake, and swam to our dock.  One of the coach's wives saw him climbing out of the water and saw all the blood and called for me to come down.  Luckily our doctor was at the party, too.  He wrapped it up and we headed straight back into town to his office.  I left Thomas at the lake with friends and they brought him home later.  Sam missed all of the excitement because he was at home recovering from eye surgery!

It was a pretty deep cut but Cloy was able to sew it right up.  Will was really brave, he flinched when he got the numbing shot, but was fine after that!

I tried to get a smile out of him, but it wasn't easy!  He's a trooper, that sf or sure!

Chester for President

We found this awesome shirt and had to buy it.  If only Chester really could run for president!

Same shirt, same dog, 3 months later!

Robotics Camp

Thomas and Will went to a week long Robotics Camp at Early Elementary.  They had lots of fun and were able to learn how to program Lego robots!

Kaitlin Came Home (Briefly)!

Kaitlin had a few days leave this summer and was in Lubbock to visit her family.  So we loaded up the car and made a quick trip up there to have lunch wit her.  It was great to see her, as always!

Carl, Chester, and the Boys

I wanted to get a picture of the boys and the dogs before church.  They were all cooperating really well.......

Right up to when Chester decided to take a nip at Carl and got ahold of Will's arm instead.  Those puppy teeth are sharp!  (and Will can tend to be a little dramatic!)
