Puppy at Play

This little puppy hat and coat set is a hand-me-down from my friend Kamber's son. I think it is so cute ~ especially on Will! Come to think of it, Kamber (and her husband Brendan) actually gave me the porch swing that doubles for a jungle gym for Will. We love it!For a brief moment Will sat on the porch swing for a picture. But soon made a move to climb over the back.He did a pretty good job of it, I might add!So I banished him from the swing into the yard, but...........It didn't take long for him to try to carjack the Escalade.
No such luck. The car's owner happens to be bigger and tougher (notice the gangsta hoodie!) Sorry Will, looks like you're a passenger for a little longer!

Thanksgiving 2008

For Thanksgiving lunch we went to HPU ready to volunteer serving others in our community. However, there was already plenty of people there to help so we ate lunch and then spent some time watching the Stewardson boys run and play. But first I tried to get some posed pictures. When will I learn my lesson??Will found a leaf to keep him still for about 10 seconds. Long enough to get a decent picture!I think Thomas was itching his nose. Definitely not picking it, though! Okay, you can tell by the attitude Thomas is giving me that he's ready to go.
Sitting down isn't much better ~ especially since Dad is forcing Thomas to put his arm around Will!So what's more fun than 2 uncooperative boys? 4 uncooperative boys! Luke just wanted down, Gray and Thomas were singing some random song along with the adults in the background, and Will was just hanging out.Let's try again.....
Luke ~ trying to escape once again.
Gray ~ kicking back and chillin'.
Thomas ~ picking (oops, I mean itching) his nose.
Will ~ holding on for dear life.
Maybe the boys will do better if Honey and Paw Paw are there to hold them. Um, nope, no such luck!
How about we turn them loose and let them run and play like little boys should do!
Before we headed home for long winter naps we spotted a butterfly and Thomas tried to give it "pat pats". We all have so much to be thankful ~ even little butterflies!

Future Movie Star?

After a bath and blow dry I couldn't help but notice that Will resembled a certain '80s movie character. Any guesses as to who it might be?

Yep, it's Kevin Bacon a.k.a. Ren McCormack from "Footloose." They look just alike ~ especially if you replace the wife-beater t-shirt with blue snowman pajamas!

Right Between the Eyes!

One of Will's favorite things to do is to stand up on our bed or Thomas' bed and then fall face first into the mattress or pillows. Well, Sunday night I was sitting on Thomas' bed and Will was having a great time standing and then falling. However, he inched a little too far down the bed and before I could stop him he fell right on the foot board of the bed and smacked his sweet face.
I took these pictures Monday morning ~ he was in a much better mood than Sunday night! I'm amazed he doesn't have two black eyes, but I'm sure glad he doesn't.While I was taking Will's picture Thomas kept saying "T's turn, T's turn!" So here's a picture of T! By yesterday afternoon Will was back to his silly self. He was having fun in the Escalade while Thomas was still napping!

Just Because..........

Thomas and Will were having fun running from the kitchen to me and back to the kitchen again. Notice Will is wearing knee socks and 1 shoe. When he would "run" it sounded like Long John Silvers with his peg leg (aka tennis shoe) clomping on the wood floors! Thomas told me he was hot so I had to take his jersey off of him. The boys played in T's room for a few minutes but soon came running back. Actually Will was running away and T was chasing him to get "his" toy hammer back. Just after this picture was taken T pushed Will down ~ and was sent to time-out.
Will found an envelope to occupy his time. So easily entertained! And here's Thomas after I released him from time-out! Ready to say "sorry" and give Will a hug!
