STEWARDSON Grandkids

This year for Christmas we took a picture of each individual grandkid holding the letters to spell out STEWARDSON. It worked out perfectly since there are 10 kids and 10 letters in Stewardson. They are in birth order from oldest to youngest. This was our gift to my in-laws and for the kid's great grandmother for Christmas!
This is the final product framed ~ It turned out really great!

Stewardson Thanksgiving 2012: Fun and Photos

Finally: Fun and a Photo Shoot

I might be mistaken, but I think Thomas was a little happy to get his bicycle back!
This is what I call a HUG!!
I think Thomas was squeezing Luke a little tight, but he didn't seem to mind!

Best buddies, believe it or not!

Will, Geyer and Kirklyn decided to try and move ALL of the rocks on the walking path.  They did a pretty good job, too!  I love the sequence of the events.  First Will had the girls sit down while he explained how to fill the cups with rocks.
Next the girls (especially Kirklyn) told Will where to take the rocks.

As Will filled the cup with the rocks the girls got a head start and lead the way!
It was fun to watch Will play with the girls ~ he's really sweet with younger kids!

Fritz patiently waiting for the other 9 cousins to join him in a attempt to get a group photo.
Just as Thomas joined him, he headed off the blanket!

Geyer and Kirklyn getting a "big girl" picture taken.
Only to be photobombed by Will Davis!

First there were four...........
Then Kirklyn and Gus joined the group to make six..........
At last a picture of all 10 Stewardson grandkids!
Luke, Thomas, Gray, and Will
Gus, Kirklyn, and Geyer
Quincy, Fritz and Gustine

Stewardson Thanksgiving 2012 ~ Flag Football

Second: A friendly game of flag football

The 4 big boys were good sports and let me take a picture before hitting the field.  The teams: 6 year olds on green (Gray and Thomas) and the 5 year olds on orange (Will and Luke)
Luke with his dad/coach Ben
Going over a few rules with the players ~
And they're off!  Luke was a little confused ~ he headed straight for his teammate's flags!
And in a moment of panic Will threw the ball ~ straight at HIS teammate!
A quick check to make sure their flags are intact.

This time Gray was hot on Will's trail, so what's a boy to do?
Throw the ball over your shoulder and run like the wind!
Luke avoiding a tackle ~
Thomas and Gray headed for the ball ~
Thomas II handing off to Thomas IV ~
Look at the determination!
Meanwhile Gus was hanging out with the deer statues. It won't be long before he's in the game with the big boys!
But in the meantime he put some miles on the Big Wheel.

Stewardson Thanksgiving 2012 ~ Riding Bikes

We were able to spend Thanksgiving at Paw Paw and Melinda's house with all the cousins, aunts and uncles, and GG this year.  Needless to say we all had a wonderful time!  I'm going to break the day up into the different activities we did so that this post isn't super long!

First up: Riding Bikes

Thomas riding around the parking lot of the bank next door.

It wasn't easy to get a picture of Will ~ he was going pretty fast!
Gray ~ such a patient kid waiting his turn.
Thomas acting ugly when dad told him he needed to give Gray a turn on his bike ~ little turkey!

This has to be the grumpiest face I've ever seen, but he did get off the bike!
Gray enjoying his turn ~ Such a good sport!

Thomas still pouting int he background ~ cracks me up!
Luke was in on the fun, too!
Quincy wasn't outside riding bikes, but I couldn't resist posting this picture ~ such a cutie!
