Brotherly Love??

I thought I'd try to get a picture of Thomas and Will together. Well, I succeeded in getting them in the same chair at the same time. I think Thomas is planning his escape ~ poor Will doesn't know what's about to hit him ~ literally!
Yep, I was right. Will wasn't prepared for the left jab from his brother. The poor kid is going to have to be tough to live in this house!

Whose Toy Is It??

This toy was a Christmas gift to Will from the Burchs. Will is just now big enough to play with it a little bit. I bet you can guess who's been playing with it for the past 2 months...........You guessed it ~ big brother Thomas! He was not too thrilled with Will playing with "his" toy! Luckily Will was perched safely out of Thomas' reach. I think he thought Thomas was overreacting!

Will sure looks pleased with himself, doesn't he?? (Notice Thomas' hand on the lefthand side of the picture. I think he was getting ready to make a sneak attack to steal the toy back!)

Time to Floss

Thomas found the dental floss and went to work on his teeth. He knew exactly what to do because his parents set such a good example!

Sittin' Pretty

Will sat alone (with a little help from mommy sitting him up to start out.) First, Will had to get a good look at the blanket he was sitting on.
Calling his name got his attention (and a slight smirk).
Will watched Thomas (who was in the background) very closely!
Going...... going.......... no picture of the "gone"!If you look closely you can see that Will has a rosy cheek ~ the result of "gone"! But he didn't seem to mind too much!

Giggle Box

Thomas is Still There!

Here's Thomas looking at Will when he was in the bassinet in the hospital. 5 months later Will was peeking over his bumper pad to see of Thomas was still lurking around ~ he was!!

Thomas's Canvas / Will's Head

This morning Will was in his Jumperoo while I was getting dressed. He went from happy to crying LOUDLY in a matter of seconds. When I got back to the living room Thomas was standing behind Will drawing on his head! If you look closely you can see the pen marks on Will's head. I snapped a few pictures after calming Will down and disciplining Thomas. At least it wasn't a Shaprie (this time, anyway)!!

Lookout Below!

Well, it was only a matter of time before Thomas figured out how to climb into Will's bed. Looks like that time has come! I put Will in his crib to play for a few mintues and the phone rang so I went to get it. When I got back Will wasn't alone anymore! So I rescued Will and put him in the bouncy seat while Thomas showed me his new trick. The crib was actually the only place I could put Will so that he would be out of his bother's reach. I guess from now on if Will is in his crib I'll have to shut the bedroom door to keep Thomas from visiting!

Pink Eyes and Ear Infections

Thomas woke up Monday morning with a runny nose and his eyes were red and watery. We thought it was probably allergies since he's had the same symptoms before. I called the doctor anyway but they were booked and couldn't see him until Tuesday unless he was running a fever. So Tuesday afternoon the boys and I went to the doctor and he took one look at Thomas and said he had pink eye in both eyes! He looked in his ears and sure enough ~ double ear infections. I asked him to check Will since we were already there and the poor baby has his 3 set of double ear infections (but no pink eye, thank goodness!) So back to the pharmacy we go! I am soooooo ready for these boys to be healthy! Thomas has a history of bouncing back pretty well ~ just look at "SPOTS" and "UNWANTED TRAVEL COMPANIONS" and see!

This little guy sure looks happy to have double ear infections, doesn't he?

I'm 2 Today!!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Thomas!

Thomas had a great time at his birthday party on Saturday. The kids played and played and played! Here are a few pictures:

Thomas, Gray and Brooke went for a ride in the Escalade. Thomas didn't stay in the Gator for long, he wasn't too sure about Allie's driving abilities. I think Allie was much happier to have her big sister Emily driving!

Britt, Ben and Graham out for a drive.Luke loved playing with the balloons. It was difficult getting a picture of Hudson. He spent most of the party zooming around on the tricycle Granddaddy got Thomas for his birthday.Thomas was ready for the birthday goodies!Instead of a traditional birthday cake we had mini-cupcakes, cake balls and chocolate covered pretzels. They were all yummy treats! Thomas wasn't too sure about what to do with the candle ~ we finally had to help him blow it out!
Thomas taking time out to scratch his nose ~ those allergies are acting up again! Thomas got lots of fun new toys from his friends and family!
Will enjoyed most of the party from the swing. He had a good talk with Uncle Joe, Graham and Thomas posed for a picture, and GG stopped by to say hello.
Guess who was worn out after his big party! When we got home Thomas played with his new toys for a little while and then passed out on the couch. It's a tough job being 2 years old!

What's Going On Here??

Thomas spent the night with Aunt Hilary (affectionately called "DoDo" by Thomas). DoDo snapped this picture of Granny's cat Bevo (affectionately called "Meow" by Thomas) getting a drink out of the toilet. I guess we'll have to explain that Meow thinks of the toilet as one big sippy cup!
