The Big Stadium

The Brownwood Lions played in Cowboy Stadium ~ it was a huge treat for us to be able to go to the game!Outside the stadium ~ Thomas and Will rushing in to beat the crowd!
The view as we entered the stadium. The teams were warming up on the field and they looked tiny!
Headed down the stairs for a better look. Thomas, Will and their friend Ryaln at the very bottom.
Looking out at the field from the end zone seats. Here come the Lions!
Will liked watching the action on the JUMBO screen. The Skinner boys came to the game, too.The coin toss.......
A big grin from Will Davis!
Luke, Thomas and Will had fun playing with Uncle Ben's phone ~ they didn't seem to notice the game going on behind them!

After SEVERAL attempts of getting a "good" picture of the kids I decided I'd better be happy no one was crying and quit while I was ahead!
Will calling a TOUCHDOWN ~ he had several chances to do this throughout the game.
When we left there was a man handing out slips of paper and hand stamps. Of course the boys had to have both.
The boys proudly showing off their smoking pass! Fortunately we didn't really need to use the passes!
Showing their star hand stamps. It took less than 10 seconds for Will to smear his.
Will decided to take a little drink from the fountain outside the stadium.
Thomas wasn't thirsty so he just felt of the water. We had a really fun time and it was a great experience for all of us!

Drawings

This morning while I was getting ready the boys got into the paper and crayons and I couldn't be more proud. They brought their artwork to show Dad and Mom ~ pretty impressive, don't you think? Will's picture of Mommy. I sure have a big smile and rosy cheeks, don't I?
Thomas drew a picture of mom and then one of dad. He thinks "SAM" spells "DAD". I'm not about to correct him. I think it's cute how Thomas put his name on the top of each of his drawings!
(I also find it interesting that Thomas makes a 2 when he writes the S on the end of his name, but he wrote it correctly when he wrote SAM. )

Sleep Mats

Grandmother sent the boys these awesome sleep mats for them to use at school. I'm not sure which is cuter, the sleep bags or the boys inside them!

Will's 3rd Birthday

Happy 3rd birthday Will Davis! Daddy bought powdered donuts for breakfast so I put a candle in one and we sang Happy Birthday!
My attempt at getting a "good" picture of Will on his birthday. Not much success, but he sure is cutie anyway!
On to the party! We had a small celebration at the lake. The jet ski was out of the water and on a trailer so it became a favorite place for the boys to play! Luke, Thomas and Gray
Will wanted to be the driver ~ he looks a little confused!
The party guests waiting patiently for the cupcakes and ice cream. Thomas, Trine, Cate (the only girl guest!), Gray, Luke and the birthday boy!
Will getting a good look at his special cupcake.
He kept his hand in his mouth the whole time we were singing to him ~ nervous excitement, I think.
Time to blow out the candles! Luke was a big help ~ and Will thought it was hilarious!
I asked Will to hold up his cupcake so I could get a picture ~ oops, it was a little top heavy and took a tumble!
Luckily it survived!
We didn't have to ask these kids twice to dig in!

Cate pretty much had this expression on her face the whole time they were eating. All the boys were being super silly ~ as you can see in the pictures. I had to put two pictures of Thomas because I couldn't decide which one I liked better! Cate wasn't sure what to think!

Opening presents time! All of the kids chipped in and helped Will open his gifts!
Trine was sweet enough to get Will some ooy gooy Flarp.
When you smush the Flarp back into the container it makes a lovely "toot" sound. I love Will's expression!
Will and GG winding down the party!
