Mom and Dad (and lots of other family and friends, for that matter) have been keeping a little secret from the boys. Well, since dad was off work today and the surprise is only a week away we decided to send the boys on a little scavenger hunt!
The first clue was in the bird feeder in the backyard. Will was the first to spot it and bring it back to Thomas on the porch.
This is what it said:
It didn't take the boys long to find the next clue in the refrigerator, although they looked in the freezer first!
Next stop: The bathtub! Will was pretty proud of himself for figuring it out on his own!
Will ran to his room to look under his pillow and Thomas ran to his room. Thomas was right, it was under his pillow!
This clue had the boys confused. Thomas kept reading it as "stuck up all the toys" so they both ran to the toy box under Will's bed.
After rereading the clue several times they finally realized the next clue was on the vacuum sweeper!
