Out for a Drive
Lookout ladies, the Stewardson boys are on the loose! Every evening the boys take the Esclade out for a spin in the backyard. Thomas has really gotten good at driving. At least now he turns the steering wheel instead of running into the house, backing up and running into the back fence, putting it in drive and running into the house again, etc.
Here's a little video of their ride. Will keeps leaning down trying to pick up a toy that fell in the floorboard. But don't worry, he is buckled in tight!
We gave Thomas a "Slow Melt" Popsicle and it was amazing how long it lasted.
Thomas stopped to share with Will.
But Will was more interested in the radio than he was in the Popsicle!
I think Thomas is a little tipsy from all the sugar in the Popsicle!
And once again they're OFF!!!

Our New "Puppy"
Nobody panic ~ we didn't get a REAL puppy, and it looks like we don't need one with Will in the house! He can sit up, roll over, speak, and now he can FETCH!

I know it's gross but the kid loves to crawl around with stuff in his mouth, especially his brother's Crocs. Now if we could just teach him to get the newspaper in the morning..........................

Relay for Life 2008
We participated in the Relay for Life this year to help raise awareness and money for cancer research. Our team raised almost $3000! Thanks to everyone for their support and prayers!
Before we got started Thomas gave will a "pat pat" for encouragement.
And a kiss on the head (see, he CAN be sweet!!)

Before anyone accuses me of favoritism let me just tell you it was much easier to get pictures of Will since he's not able to walk yet! He was happy to hang out with Mommy and Daddy the whole time. FYI: The bottom of Will's outfit says "I'm Behind the Red Raiders" Too cute!

Thomas, on the other hand, was a different story! I was smart (even if I do say so myself) and had one of the girls from the youth group come with us and her job was to keep up with Thomas! Easier said than done, but she did a great job! I think they did about 3 laps before the night was over. I was able to snap these 2 pictures when they came by for a drink.
Will is 9 Months Old!!
It was only 19 months ago that Thomas was wearing this 9 month shirt!
Promotion Sunday 2008
I can't believe it, but Thomas is now in the 2 year old class at church. Last year I waited until September to promote him but due to peer pressure (from his friends Cobe and Allie, who are a month younger than Thomas) I went ahead and moved him when he's "supposed to" be moved.
At first he wasn't quite sure what was going on ~ the room, puzzles and teacher were all a little different.
Allie wasn't at all thrilled with the big move. And Thomas put his hands in his mouth like he does when he's nervous.
But once they began to sing "The B I B L E" it was all good!
