Memorial Day Weekend 2010

Looks like Kirklyn enjoyed her first time in the lake!
Out of the water and into the boat. My little shark didn't want to have his picture taken. I took it anyway!
Luke was happy to give a big smile for the camera! (Notice the pouting shark in the background!)

Thomas went to the front of the boat and cheered up quite a bit. He liked the wind in his hair.

Paw Paw and Will hung out in the back of the boat enjoying the ride.

Luke was happy to help his daddy drive the boat.However, it didn't last long! He fell sound asleep after a few minutes.

Will got comfy and took a little nap himself. I'm glad the wind didn't disturb his nap!

Time for sparklers. Luke went first while Will and Thomas watched.
Will wasn't too sure of his sparkler.Thomas did a good job holding his sparkler really still.

Finishing out the day in the hammock with daddy. Will flashing one of his famous smiles!

Playing at GG's House

We had a good time hanging out and playing at GG's house. Kirklyn and Gus were chillin' on the quilt............

They were all really sweet with the little ones ~ Luke tickled Gus' chin Will tickled Kirklyn's head.
Will squeezed himself into the B U M B O!
GG and Gus just hanging out.
He was always on the lookout for his bigger, louder cousins!
Do Do organized a game of Chutes and Ladders.
No one really knew the rules, so everyone won!
Thomas, Will and GG played with number flash cards. Thomas got most of them right!
Will concentrated really hard.......
GG had to help him with a few of the numbers, but he did great!

Boys Blowing Bubbles

The boys spent most of the afternoon in the backyard blowing bubbles ~ very cheap and fun entertainment!The first few tries Will didn't blow the bubbles, he tasted them!I don't think it they were quite the flavor he was looking for!After a few tries he finally got the hang of it!

"Bubbles up, up, up in the sky!"

Thomas didn't have any trouble blowing his bubbles.
He was really good at catching them and loved to show each one to the camera.
I call this one "The boy in the bubble!"

"You have to be very careful with the bubbles, Mommy."

Muffins with Mom / Mother's Day 2010

The boys seem to be competing for the most uninterested expression. I think it's a tie!
Will looking completely bored and Thomas looking downright goofy!

Cate's Birthday Party

Cate had a circus themed birthday party and the boys had a great time! There was a bounce house, clowns, magic tricks and.................Clown noses for all the kids! It looks like Thomas is having a hard time breathing out of his mouth.
Ummmm, they are less than thrilled to have to pose for a clown nose pic!
How much longer??
Will finally lost the nose ~ Cate is just figuring out how to put it on.She got it!
