A Night Out

I would like to introduce the newest cousin in our family ~ Davis Webb Dunaway. Davis' dad John is Sam's cousin. Isn't he sweet??Will, Jack (Davis' big brother) and Thomas really enjoyed playing together.
Jack was interested in the water in the fountain and Thomas was interested in the full moon. I'm not sure where Will was.........
We went to downtown Dallas to see the 10:00 news being taped at Victory Park. The boys were very impressed with the giant TV screen.

We enjoyed the night out in the big city. Everyone was ready to get back to the hotel and get some rest!

Pool and Waterpark

Sam had a Kiwanis convention in Dallas last week so the boys and I packed up and joined him for a little R and R! I took this picture from our 3 floor balcony. Sam was trying to show Will where to look and Thomas was swimming upstream ~ against the hot tub bubbles!I think Thomas spotted me but I don't think Will ever figured out where to look.

We went to a water park with Ben, Amy and Luke on Friday. Will was finally brave enough to jump to daddy.

Here he goes!!

Ben gave Luke a ride on the kickboard.
Thomas used the kickboard as a shield so he could get underneath the waterfall.

Then he tried to use it as a surfboard ~ and didn't have much luck.

The boys were deep in conversation ~ about the kickboard, I'm sure!

Will bravely decided to head over the the waterfall.

And he got soaking wet!

The look on Thomas' face pretty much sums up the day ~ they had a blast!

Waterslide!!

Our friends The Reagans rented a giant waterslide and invited us over to get some use out of it. The boys had a great time!

Trine and Will weren't too interested in the waterslide, but they had fun pushing trucks around the backyard.

Will loved jumping on the trampoline.Looks like Thomas has control of the water part of the waterslide ~ good thing Conner was there to supervise!
Lookout below!!!Austin landed safely, but I'm not sure why he's doing the "Longhorn" sign. Don't tell his dad!Wyatt rolled down the slide.Conner was literally flying through the air! Ben was flipping with excitement ~ while Allie chose to slide down the safe (and correct) way!

No day is complete without someone getting an injury, right? Just happened to be Thomas with a slightly fat lip. He was proud to show it off!

Popcorn and a Movie

Sam has to take call in a neighboring every other week. The boys and I decided to drive over and spend the night with him in the hotel. Kinda like a mini-vacation!
Thomas and Will's favorite part ~ watching the popcorn pop in the microwave!

Daddy and the boys settled in to watch Cars.
