T's Eye Injury

Thomas was helping with the yard work and was blowing grass off of the sidewalk.  He accidentally blew a piece of grass in his eye.  Dad took him to the eye doctor the next day, and sure enough, he had a scratch on his cornea.  Luckily it healed quickly! 

Texas Tech Football

The Smiths and the Stewardsons made a road trip to Lubbock to see the Red Raiders play some football.  The kids really enjoyed all of the festivities at Raider Ally, and watching the Goin' Band march into the stadium.  It was a fun way to end the summer!  

First Day of School 2017 - 2018

Time for another school year!  Thomas is in 6th grade and Will is in 4th grade.  They are both looking forward to a great year.  It is moms 21st year in education ~ teaching 3rd grade again this year!

Chester and Carl sure are going to miss us being home with them all the time!  

End of Summer

We went to the Lyric Theatre's production of Tom Sawyer to see some of the kid's friends.  It was lots of fun ~ lots of talent! 

 These 4 sure have fun together!

We ran into Cate and Brynlee at the school building checking class lists.  They were excited to see that they are all in the same homeroom! 

Six Flags with Friends

We spent the day at Six Flags with Melinda, Trine and Sam.  The boys loved riding MOST of the rides, but Trine wasn't too thrilled with some of them!  

The guys won these goofy hats and were proud to wear them around the park!
