Choo Choo Barn

Thomas calls his "Thomas the Train" tent a "Choo Choo Barn". I think it's because he got a "real" barn tent for Christmas so now any tent is a barn! Cousin Luke was over to play and the boys had a great time!Luke was able to enjoy being in the tent by himself (can you see him in the window?), but only for a few minutes!Because Thomas and Will were waiting patiently outside.Luke was glad to welcome them in to play with him!
Luke and Thomas ~ discussing politics.
Luke and Will ~ discussing how in the world Luke can lay with his legs like that!
Thomas and Luke checking the doors.
Luke left for a while but decided to join his cousins again.
Thomas tipping over the tent, ever so slowly.

Will was able to escape but things aren't looking too good for Luke.Looks like Luke was able to escape the "train wreck" after all! Thomas decided to hang out in the wreckage for a while!

Artist or Vandal??

Once again I forgot to close the bathroom door and you know who took the opportunity to create a masterpiece. His medium? A lovely shade of lipstick whose makers promise it to be "Color Stay Overtime". It's true. His canvas? The lid of the "big potty". The artist/vandal proudly posing next to his artwork. If you look closely and squint your eyes it kinda looks like he made a T and S, his initials.
Oh yeah, did I mention he applied the "Color Stay Overtime" on his own lips, too? Hopefully he painted his lips before he painted the toilet lid!

Since we were in the neighborhood, I had Thomas sit on the big potty. In the past 5 days he has been wearing a pull up and has only had 3 wet accidents!! We're still working on going #2 on the potty, though.
When he finishes he says, "Did you teeeee teeeee?" I guess that's what he's heard me ask so now he says it, too. This picture was taken right as he said the second "teeeee!"

The Many Faces of Will

"You've got to be kidding me. Not that camera, AGAIN!!!""This is what I think of having my picture taken AGAIN!!!" "Just in case you didn't see me the first time, I'll stick my tongue out AGAIN!!!"
"I know I'm supposed to say cheese, but I 'm going to growl instead.""Just kiddin'! I'll give you a cheesy smile."
"I'll even get a little closer to that camera so you can get a good shot of my big blue eyes and mouth full of teeth!"

Speed Bump??

Is it a speed bump? NO, it's a walking toy!! (see this picture). We bought it for Thomas about 2 years ago so he could push it around when he was learning how to walk. I'm not sure how it ended up outside and I'm REALLY not sure how it ended up under the Escalade!
Will was in his exersaucer and I was reading the newspaper when Thomas hit the "speed bump". I knew there was a problem because Thomas started yelling "need help"! Will sure does look concerned about his brother, doesn't he?

Ice Cream

The Blue Bell individual cup was just the right size for Thomas. And it looks like it was good to the last drop!
Will was pouting because all he got was a few pieces of his dad's waffle cone!

Another Relay for Life

Here are a few pictures from the Relay for Life in Grandmother and Granddaddy's town: Thomas had the best view of all ~ right on top of his cousin Kaitlin's shoulders! Will had to strain to see his big brother!

Guess what happens when you make a silly face instead of smiling sweetly........... Your mean Aunt Laura posts it on her blog!!!
A group of Native Americans came and preformed several dances for the crowd (Thomas is sitting in Kaitlin's lap).
This was a dance dedicated to the American flag.
Kaitlin had the opportunity to dance with the group ~ I think she had fun!
Thomas, on the other hand was happy to watch from the sidelines.
And Will enjoyed playing with the "caution" tape!

Guess What We Had for Dinner!?!?

Here is what's left of Thomas' THIRD helping! He was so good to wipe his left hand on his "nakin". I just had to chase him down to clean his right hand and face!

A Glimpse into the Future??

When Sam and Thomas went out to get the newspapers this morning this is what they saw in the next door neighbor's yard: Yes, folks, that's 10 packages of 6 rolls of toilet paper (10 x 6 = 60 rolls), 3 cans of silly string, 2 rolls of streamers, 1 box of 72 count plastic forks, 40 plastic orange plates and 1 thing of white shoe polish. How do I know the exact #'s you ask? Well, our neighbors just happened to leave town yesterday afternoon for a week and we are supposed to be watching their house. (So far, not so good!) Thomas and Will and I spent an hour this morning cleaning up the yard and in the process we found the receipt from our local Supercenter with the items listed. One item that was on the receipt that I didn't find any trace of was a package of gum. Thank goodness for small favors!!!

Will was quick to point out who he thought was the guilty party. Even though Thomas has a history with TP, I'm pretty sure he was sound asleep in his new big boy bed!

Each one of the 40 orange plates had some kind of message written on them. I think most of the messages were quotes from movies, however I'm not sure because I have only been to 3 movies since giving birth 2 1/2 years ago. The plates in this picture spelled out the neighbor's 13 year old son's name. On the handle of the forks the word "fork" was written. How clever. And time consuming.

Thomas had a great time running through the TP.
He even picked up a strand or two.
"Excuse me sir, you have some toilet paper on your shoe!"
The saddest part of the whole TP escapade is that it was wasted on a 30 something housewife and her 2 small children. The "target" (the 13 year old neighbor boy) was out of town! I'm sure when this happens to our house he will be happy to come home from college and help Thomas and Will clean up our yard!

New Hand-Me-Down Shirt

Our good friends over at Fitzgerald Five are wonderful to save their hand-me-downs for our boys. They delivered new batch of clothes and I haven't had a chance to go through everything. However, this lovely "Cars" wife-beater t-shirt was spotted by Thomas so he HAD to wear it. It's a size 4 but I had to cram it on him. I doubt he'll be able to wear it much longer. Which means look for Will to be sportin' it soon! This boy has got some major rhythm issues. He tries to dance but it's not pretty. Funny, but not pretty!
Thomas thought he'd share is fish crackers with Will.Which I guess was pretty funny.

Thomas had a major case of the giggles. Must be the giddiness from getting to wear character clothes ~ even if they are just PJ's!

Hanging out in T's Room

Thomas just relaxing and watching a movie. Will REALLY relaxing! I promise I did not get him to pose. When Thomas got up out of the chair Will climbed in it and made himself at home!
Will loves to climb in the toy box and play ~ just like T used to do!
Thomas decided to join his brother (poor Will never saw him coming!)
Thomas seems to like his new bed ~ at naptime at least! Nighttime is going to take some getting used to but hopefully he'll adjust quickly!
