This is the place we stayed in Ruidoso ~ the boys called it The 88 House since the address was #88.
They turned the sliding door into an "elevator" and had to push the pretend button to get in and out. The area to the left was filled with pine cones and needles, but to Thomas and Will it was a garden!
We went on several afternoon walks. Thomas made himself at home in someone's yard playing with the whirlygig.
Will kept a close eye on his brother to get just the right technique for making it spin.
Will had to take a turn himself.
The next thing we spotted on our hike was this baby deer ~
And the big sisters (or at least that who we thought they were!)
Headed over to get a closer look at one of the deer.
Notice how Will has his hand out being protective of Thomas.
And then Thomas put his arm around Will. See, they CAN be sweet!
They got a pretty close look at the deer but right after this picture she ran off to find her family!
