The boys and I hadn't planned on going to ACU Homecoming, however our plans changed when Grandmother had a bad fall on Friday morning. She was trying to get a snack out of the refrigerator, lost her balance, and fell and broke her right femur bone. Mom and Granddaddy spent the day in Abilene with her in the hospital and came back Friday night to get some rest. The boys and I went back to Abilene on Saturday morning. We went to the Homecoming parade and chapel and then went up to the hospital to spend the afternoon with Grandmother. She was in a lot of pain but enjoyed our visit!
