Thomas participated in his first Pinewood Derby for Cub Scouts.

The boys got to test out a push car model ~ they didn't get very far!

Thomas painted his car green with yellow stars on the top. He named it The Green Scooter. Unfortunately, it never actually made it to the finish line. We will need to do some more work on building a faster car next year!

Thomas didn't come away from the competition empty handed. He won a trophy for the Slowpoke Award. Having a slow car actually has its advantages!
Siblings got to make a car and race it in the open division, so Will raced his car, too. Both boys were awarded a patch for their hard work!
