Sliger's with Kindergarten

Thomas's Kindergarten class went on a field trip to Sliger's Market. It was also silly hat day, which explains why Thomas is wearing ahat with gray hair!
The kids enjoyed walking through the market and learning about all the different types of fruits and vegetables.

They also got to see the machine that cracks the pecans ~ it was loud!

Each of the kids got to pick a gourd or pumpkin to take home with them.
At first Thomas picked a pumpkin, so I snapped this picture. Then he changed his mind!
He chose a little green gourd instead!
