Pullin' Up
Will was sooooo sleepy after I picked Thomas up from pre school so I gave him a bottle and he closed his eyes and drifted off..... So I put him in his crib and went to get Thomas down for a nap, too. For some reason I decided to check the TV monitor to make sure Will was asleep. I couldn't see him in his crib, which usually means he scooted down to the very bottom instead of scooting to the top like usual. I went to his room just to check and he wasn't asleep at all ~ in fact he was sitting up on one knee with one leg propped out like a kickstand! It looks like when Daddy gets home tonight he's going to need to lower the crib!
*FYI
Will's top teeth are peeking through ~ they have been for about a week but I can't seem to get a good picture of them! I'll keep trying!

Who is the Smart One?
Grandmother bought the boys these shirts that say "I Am the Smart One". Well, I thought I'd see if it was true for one or maybe even both of them! In this picture I asked Thomas how old he was. He proudly said "one" and held up one finger. Wrong answer ~ he's two.In this picture I asked Thomas where Will's ear was ~ right answer ~ he pointed to Will's ear. In this picture Will is trying to get away from Thomas ~ which is the smartest answer of all!

Carseat Peek-A-Boo
Thomas Has a Shiner!
Well, it was bound to happen. Thomas has his first black eye as about 7:00 this morning. He always goes out to get the morning newspapers with Sam and then he comes right back in the house to give me the paper. Well, for some reason this morning he decided to run to the neighbor's yard instead. So Sam (in his robe and holding Will) headed out after him and "herded" him back into the house. Thomas was running and fell right inside the door and hit his eye on the time out stool. He had a purple bump immediately! After some ice and TLC it looked a little better. I'm anxious to see how it looks in the morning. And I'm also anxious to see if he gets to get the newspapers with his daddy anymore!

Petting Zoo 2008
Thomas and his classmates headed out to visit the animals. They all did a great job holding onto the leash (oops, I mean rope!)
Thomas loved all the animals. He would pet one and run to another one and pet it and then run to another one. I think we might consider getting him a goat...... then again maybe not!
I think Thomas' favorite thing at the petting zoo was the jam box. After running around petting the animals I guess he was tired so he climbed up in the chair and listened to the music.
Will thought the latch on the stroller was much more interesting than the animals!

Sharing With Will
Tube Time
Here's Will waiting for the nurse to take him back to get the tubes put in his ears. He wasn't too impressed with the hospital gown ~ but then again, who is? Yellow just isn't a good color on him!
I had to take a picture of the back view of the gown ~ much cuter from this angle!

When we went for Will's Pre-Op appointment they said we could bring a favorite toy or blanket to send back with him. Well, he doesn't have a particular favorite, but since the ENT doctor is a HUGE fan of UT we decided to send Will's Tech blanket with him. I wish Will knew how to do "Guns Up"!
Back from the surgery and in his own pj's once again. Much better!
Please excuse Will's "bed head". I didn't think it make a difference if his hair was wild or not ~ especially since we left the house at 5:45 this morning!
A little love from Daddy!

Thomas Really CAN Smile!
I realize that in most of the recent posts Thomas is not smiling. Well, that's because the minute he sees a camera he turns on his serious face. I finally got some pictures of him smiling, however, they have a price. In these pictures he was laughing because he was closing the lid to the printer over and over and over and he thought the slamming noise was funny. I grabbed my camera and got these pictures of his silly grin ~ I just wish you could hear him laughing. The downside, you ask? Now he doesn't believe me when I tell him to leave the printer alone ~ he thinks its a fun game. Sigh.....
Ranger Game
Will caught a ride to the game from Aunt Do Do.We had a great view ~ maybe because we were up in the boonies!
Thomas made sure everyone got some popcorn.
Then he had some for himself!
I love this picture ~ a true blue-eyed American boy!Mom and the boys! I kept Will's head covered as much as I could to keep the sun and wind off of him. He didn't seem to mind! The family at our first professional baseball game!

Cute Kids
We went to Dallas this weekend and Thomas and Will had a chance to hang out with their cousins Jack and Luke. Amazingly enough we were able to get all 4 boys sitting down next to each other and no one was crying or trying to get away. It was a slight improvement since the LAST TIME these 4 guys were together! Jack, Will, Thomas and Luke. Just look at all those sparkling smiles! They are sooooo thrilled!
I took this picture of Will and Thomas while Great Aunt Ann was in the background singing and doing the motions to "I'm a Little Teapot". She had a tough audience!

Love That Hat!
As we were leaving the house this morning for pre-school Thomas plopped his "Thomas" engineer hat on and headed out the door. When we got to school he took it off and his teacher put it in his cubby.
When I picked him up after school he had it on again ~ this time backwards. Can you tell he's tired?
When we got home he went right to his bed for his nap (which if VERY rare). I waited about 15 minutes before going in and snapping a picture of him. Hat still on, tucked snugly under his "Thomas" blanket.
