We went to Abilene to meet up with some old family friends. Grandmother and Granddaddy came and so did the Fosters, Coplens and Gages. We had a fun lunch with Susan and her 2 1/2 year old twins, Blake and Keeley! I treasure these friends ~ and the boys loved spending time with everyone!

Pumpkin Carving
We picked out pumpkins at Sligers when we took pictures, but waited to carve them until closer to Halloween. Will wasn't too sure about the icky inside of the pumpkin!
But like a champ he dug right in ~
This goofy, eyes closed, messy handed picture cracks me up!
Smokey had to check out Will's progress.
And Thomas had to get a good look at Will's before he started on his pumpkin.
Thomas was very intense with his pumpkin cutting ~
Reaching in for a little more "gunk"
Love this smile ~ he is proud of his progress, with good reason!
My favorite boys!
Had to get a picture of the pumpkin guts!
The final product!
Will trying to get Speckles to smile ~ or at least look at the camera!

Halloween 2013
Our church had it's annual Trunk or Treat on the Saturday before Halloween. Dad and Mom were out of town but our good friend Lauren got the boys all dressed up!
The Cop and The Crayon
Don't be fooled ~ he will cuff you in an instant!
Free candy from Matt!
Friends Peyton, Alex and Trine
Posing with the somewhat creepy scarecrow!
Thomas and Allie ~ love these two kiddos!
On Halloween night we went to the fall festival at Cate's church. They all had a great time playing the games. Thomas's personal favorite was at the cake walk ~ he did it 4 times and won 3!

Selfies With Kaitlin
Kaitlin came down to visit for the weekend and she went to a football game with us. And like every good teenager, she proceeded to take dozens of selfies ~ so Thomas, Will and I decided to join her in the pictures! Love this girl!

Texas State Fair 2013
We made a quick trip to Dallas to the State Fair. I didn't take the big camera so all of these pictures are from my cell phone.
Headed to the DART
The boys love public transportation!
A family selfie!
The brand new "Big Tex"
Thomas making a Lego car and giving it a test run.
The boys were fascinated with the African Acrobats
High above the fair looking at all the activities below.
Dad and the boys waiting to go on THE ride ~ after riding the skyway we could only afford one more ride! But they had a blast!
