FaceTime with GG

While we were in Port Aransas the boys used an iPad to FaceTime with GG.  They git a big kick out of talking to her all the way back in Brownwood!

Swimming at the Condo

The condo where we stayed had a great swimming pool.  The kids had a blast jumping off of the "cliffs"!

Gray, Thomas, Luke and Will take a leap!
Luke got some serious air!
Kirklyn doing the splits mid-air ~
And a belly flip for the finale!

After a long day of driving and swimming, Luke, Gus, Gray, Thomas and Will had fun relaxing on the top bunk watching some TV.

Cousin Reunion

We spent the weekend in Port Aransas with Paw Paw and all of the Stewardson/Stegemoller aunts, uncles and cousins.  The kids were all so excited to be together!
Will, Gray, Luke and Thomas couldn't wait to share their devices.
They were so interested in what Luke had that Will is the only one that noticed the girls sneaking up behind them.  Look closely and you can see Quincy peeking in-between Will and Luke.  So cute!

Kirklyn cracks me up in this picture ~ making herself at home on the back of the couch!
And then along came Gus!!

USS Lexington

On our way to Port Aransas for vacation we stopped in Corpus Cristi and took a tour of the USS Lexington.  It is a retired aircraft carrier turned into a floating museum.  The ship was full of replicas from historical Navy ships.  It was very interesting to see how things were done "back then", as the boys like to say!

The boys thought it was fun to sit in the barber's chair.

The cafeteria ~ complete with fake food!
This is the special dining room for important officers and visitors to the ship.

There was even a dentist on the ship!

Just a sampling of the instruments in the Engine Room of the ship.

A view of the hospital.........

Safety equipment that the firefighters on board the ship wore.

Checking out a model of the ship they are standing on!

 Future Fighter Pilots!

The top deck of the USS Lexington had replicas of airplanes that were flown "back then"!
