Will is a Cowboy

This year Will decided to play flag football and he is really having fun. After only 2 practices they had their first game. Will played center and receiver in the SAME play! He made a great catch and gained several yards before his flag was pulled.

 One of the kids on the opposing team kept trying to pull Will's flag ~ even when they were waiting for a play to start.  It was so funny ~ well, to us, not so much to Will!

Kaitlin's Home!

It's been a long 14 months since I've hugged my sweet niece Kaitlin She has been in Japan, Guam, and Australia with the US Navy. She is on leave for 3 weeks. I was in Lubbock yesterday and we got to visit for a little bit and of course take a selfie! Love you Kaitlin!

Schlitterbahn!

We surprised the boys with a little end of the summer/first of the school year/birthday trip to San Marcos.  Our friend Mary Chris gave our family 8 free tickets to the waterpark Schlitterbahn!

We loaded up the car, but the boys didn't have any idea where we were headed.

First stop: Pick up Cate and Evan (Codie and Angie were right behind us)

Dinner in Golthwaite ~ they were starting to ask LOTS of questions.  By the time we made it to San Marcos they figured out we were going to Schlitterbahn.

And of course the trip wouldn't be complete without a stop at Buckee's!  We loaded up with goodies and snacks for the day..

Will's 8th Birthday!

It's hard to believe that Will is 8 years old! We are constantly entertained by this kid and love him greatly! Happy Birthday Will Davis, aka. Willie Cat, aka. Willard, aka Big Willie Style, aka Train Wreck!!

Will wanted to sleep on the floor in his sleeping bag on his "birthday eve".  I was happy to let him!

Will and I made homemade funfetti cupcakes for his class.  He loved being sung to, even though he was a little embarrassed!

Dove Season

Dad and Josh took the boys out to do a little dove hunting on opening day.  Thomas and Will were excited to put their BB guns to good use!
