21st Cavalry Brigade Final Flight
The 21st Cavalry Brigade was stationed at Ft. Hood, but trained here in Brownwood at Camp Bowie. The Apache Brigade flew to Brownwood Airport one last time before they were deactivated. We took the boys out to see a ceremony to honor the Brigade and watch them fly away one last time. It was very impressive to see all of the helicopters and pilots take off all together. Something the boys will always remember!

Young Scholars Camp
Thomas, Will, Cate and many other kids participated in Howard Payne University's Young Scholars Camp. The kids had a great time learning about robotics, 3-D Printing, computer programming, music and physical activities.
The kids each earned a certificate at the end of camp.
Cate and the boys ~ lots of fun memories!
Proud of our Young Scholars!

The boys, Cate and Evan hit the VBS trail again this summer! The older 3 went to 3 different VBS's, but I forgot to take pictures at the last one!
Will and Evan are excited about VBS!
A great week wrapping up!
The kids were detectives for Jesus ~ complete with hand prints!
These 3 have the best (and biggest) smiles!

4th of July 2014
The boys made cupcakes to take to their grandparents, GG, cousins and Aunts. They also made these 3 for their cousin Kaitlin who is in the Navy.
We spend the day at the Country Club swimming and playing with friends. Then we went home and cleaned up and headed back up there for dinner and fireworks!
Thomas and his friend Ty
The best seats in the house to watch the fireworks!

My parents, the boys and I made a quick trip to Albany to visit my lifelong friend Susan and her kids Blake and Keeley. We had a great visit! It's so fun to see our kiddos playing together!
