Our Big Lion Garret was in the homecoming skit and dressed up as one of the queen candidates. The boys thought it was sooooo funny to see him wearing a dress.

Happy Birthday Johnny Appleseed!

Thomas and his Kindergarten class celebrated Johnny Appleseed's birthday with lots of fun apple activities.

The children got to have a taste of all different kinds of apples: Honeycrisp, Granny Smith, Red Delicious, etc. Thomas said his favorite was the Honeycrisp apple!


Mrs. Stewart cut the core of the apple down middle so the kids could see it made the shape of a star. She had their undivided attention during this lesson!

Trampoline Tussle

Will was happily playing on the trampoline with the sprinkler. That is until Thomas showed up!

Believe me, it looks much more rough that it actually was. It was a fairly even match. Until Dad showed up!

I'm not sure who had more fun, Dad or the boys!

Thomas Lost a Tooth!

Look closely in Thomas's hand and you will see the tooth that came out today. He noticed it was loose a few days ago and today at school he was eating lunch and it just fell out! I saw his teacher and she told me that he lost it, so when I saw him I needed to act surprised. Well, later in the day I saw Thomas in the hall and asked him if anything exciting happened at school so far and he said, "YES!! We went to the computer lab!" It cracked me up! I asked if anything exciting happened at lunch and then he told me about his tooth. So funny!

The tooth fairy came and left a $2 bill underneath Thomas's pillow. He was sooooo excited!

Reunion Parade & Carnival

Dad drove a Troop Carrier truck in the Reunion Parade and Thomas, Will and Cate went along for the ride. They loved it!Thomas leaning into the window to give Dad a few driving tips.
Then Will had to peek in the window and put his two cents in!Cate and Will worked the crowd!
Will was a great waver!

Do Do, Gus, Ben. Amy, Luke and Kirklyn were at the parade to watch us go by.

On the way back to the car Cate and Will rode in the wagon. She wanted to give Will a quick hug, whether he liked it or not!

Later we went down to the carnival area and the boys played in the corn ~ it kept them occupied forever!The on to the petting zoo. For some reason Will was very intrigued with the donkey's ummmm, rear.
Meanwhile Thomas was getting a good look at his face!

They both had fun petting all of the animals.
