Afternoon Snack

Will has been eating yogurt for an afternoon snack lately ~ and it's quite messy.  He won't let me feed him anymore so he decided to pick it up and drink it.  Not very successful.
So he decided to use his spoon!  He actually does a pretty good job!
And he's got the cutest smile of just about anyone I know!

Warren Ranch Retreat

Our church's ladies retreat was last Friday night at Warren Ranch (the same place Josh and Do do had their wedding.)  Since the whole weekend was paid for, several families spent the night Saturday night.  We all had a great time!
Will's favorite part was throwing rocks in the pond.
Thomas had fun riding in the Ranger, but he was careful to hold on tight.
Wyatt got to drive a little bit.  Will was safely buckled in beside his daddy.

Kamille, Audrey and Will posed for a picture before going for another ride.
Audrey helped Trine up the hill and Thomas was close behind them.Slowly getting all of the kids together for a group picture.
Here's part of the group............

Here's the whole group: Austin, Logan, Audrey, Ben, Jase, Robert, Thomas, Trine, Slade, Emily, Conner, Will and Allie

Easter 2009

The Stewardson Family
Thomas 3 years
Will 19 months
This is the best picture I could get of the boys together. Will was watching his daddy behind me and Thomas was saying "Cheese". At least he tried to smile!

Here are the traditional "bunny ears" pictures. They LOVED taking these pictures ~ ha ha!
Thomas kept taking his ears off...............
So we let him play with Dad's iPod to keep his hands off the ears. However, I couldn't get him to look at the camera anymore so I took the iPod away. That went really well..............

Hunting Eggs

The boys had an Easter egg hunt at Paw Paw's house.  Thomas had his basket and was ready to go!
He was a little excited to find his first egg.  Can you tell?
He proudly showed me his basket once it was full of eggs.I think he was trying to be sneaky and open a egg while no one was watching.
Luke found a egg and ran to tell Thomas. And here's Luke with a basket FULL of goodies!
As soon as Will would find an egg he would open it and eat whatever was inside.  We had to really encourage him to hunt for more eggs!
As soon as he reached for the one on the tire it fell down!
Looks like he got the hang of it ~ his basket is almost full!
This picture cracks me up.  If you look closely you'll see the cat right behind Luke.  The way the camera angle is it looks like Luke has cat ears!  Thomas is about to dump all of his eggs out of his basket.  And Will has 2 large marshmallow bunnies stuffed in his mouth!  Gray was sick so he wasn't able to come to town this weekend.  We sure missed him!

Reading Time

While I was getting ready the boys were being unusually quiet.  I peeked in Thomas' room and saw both of the boys sitting quietly "reading" books.  I got the camera and when I stuck my head in to take a picture Will looked up from his book to give me a little smile.  Thomas never even heard me!

Boys, Bluebonnets and Bees!

I took the boys to a patch of bluebonnets near the hospital and attempted to get some good pictures. Here they are:Thomas had to show me he was THREE years old! When the medical helicopter flew in I lost their attention completely!I love the expression of AWE on both of their faces as the helicopter landed only 100 yards or so from where we were taking pictures. Here's the "Give your brother a hug" picture. Looks more like "Put your brother in a headlock" picture! They decided they were through taking pictures. I love how Thomas takes Will by the hand! Sometimes Will even lets him!Hopefully we didn't interrupt the harvest of honey too much!
CORRECTION:
I have been told by a very reliable blog-reader that bees do not, in fact, "harvest honey". Apparently they pollinate flowers.  The bees then take the secretions to the honeycombs where the honey is somehow made.  Or something like that.
Thanks for pointing this out to me, dear blog reader (who shall remain nameless but he IS the father of the precious boys seen at the beginning of this ~ and almost EVERY post!)
