Grandmother got a toy for Will that he lays under and when he hits the stuffed animals hanging down it plays music and lights up. This morning I layed him under it so he could play and I could get Thomas dressed. I went in to check on him and he had fallen fast asleep! I guess the newness of the toy has worn off!

Kickin' Back
Thomas and his Monkey
Sam bought Thomas a monkey/harness/backpack/leash so we can TRY to keep up with him when we're in crowds. The monkey's tail is about 3 feet long thus the leash part. Anyway, Thomas found it and insisted on riding around the house on his tricycle wearing his monkey. Now if he'd only be as willing to wear it when we want him to!
Bracelet or Pacifier?

This Boy, That Boy
This little boy went to bed at 8:45.
This little boy had to get dressed and go to school after a night of crying and keeping mommy and daddy (but not brother) awake!
That little boy drank a bottle and posed for a few pictures before he decided to take a morning nap. I guess the long night's sleep wore him out!
That little boy went to bed at 10:00.
This little boy woke up and 1:00 am and cried until 2:22 am. Daddy finally went in his room and told this little boy to go night night and he actually did!
That little boy slept through the 1 hour and 22 minutes of crying from the room next door.
This little boy woke up again at 5:00 am and he got to get in bed with mommy and daddy.
That little boy slept until 7:00 am, which means he slept a total of 9 hours! He needs to teach his big brother a thing or two about sleeping!

Thanks, GG!
GG bought Thomas a new toy. It's a soccer ball that spins around and opens up to reveal a soccer player. When it spins the toy plays a loud screeching "song" and lights up. But the best part is that the handle is also a whistle! Yes folks, that's right, a toy and noisemaker all in one! A mommy's dream come true! Thomas was sweet enough to share his new toy with Will. I was impressed that he was willing to share ~ that's a big step!

My Guys
I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband. I honestly don't know what I would do without Sam in my life. He is so patient and caring and sweet and smart and hard-working and funny and silly and and and...... I could go on and on! I appreciate so much everything he does for the boys and I ~ he's the best! And then there's this little redhead! Thomas is such a joy ~ even though he can be ornery every once in a while. He is so sweet to give hugs and pats and blow kisses. It's amazing how smart Thomas is ~ even if I do say so myself. He pretty much understands everything you tell him and he has learned several words in sign language so he's able to communicate what he wants, too. He loves his little brother, sometimes a little too much (like when he tries to pick Will up out of the swing). Thomas has such a fun personality ~ always up to something. I am so proud to be his mommy!
Finally there's Will! This precious boy has made our family complete. He is such a good baby. He loves to sit in his bouncy seat or lay in his crib and just coo and talk. He's got a sweet little smile! Even though he's only 2 1/2 months old it's hard to remember life without him!

FYI: I had to use a picture of Sam and I from when we were engaged. I couldn't find a more recent picture of just the 2 of us (except for wedding pictures). I guess we haven't taken any of just us since we've had kids!

Getting Ready for Church
Sam was getting Will dressed for church and I guess Thomas thought he needed to supervise. I asked Sam if he put Thomas on the dresser and he said no. Thomas climbed on the rocking chair, stood on the diaper champ and then climbed onto the dresser. Nice to know! Thomas has been working on his "I'm not going to smile if I don't want to" face. Looks like he's doing a pretty good job, doesn't it?? Will was happy being held by his daddy ~ not so happy with mommy!
Just checking.....
This post is mainly to see if my good friend Ashley Washington checks my blog. If she does then I'd better get a comment SOON!! She was kind enough to give Thomas this lovely ensemble; a striped P O O H shirt (too small), gangsta jeans (too big) and a sweeeeeet brown corduroy blazer (just right). I'm pretty sure her son received it as a baby gift and she re-gifted it to us. Lookout everyone, I'm not afraid to re-regift it sometime! I'm also betting that Macy and Lara will leave a comment if they are checking, too. And as always, we love comments from everyone! And before anyone panics, no, Thomas did not wear this out in public. I'm waiting for him to get some character light-up shoes to complete the outfit!!!

New Mobile
Will loves to lay on his bed and talk to the ceiling so I bought him a Baby Einstein mobile and he loves it! But of course when Thomas heard there was something new with Baby Einstein on it he had to check it out (with dad's help getting in the crib). Will, all alone enjoying the view. However, it's much more fun to share it with big brother Thomas!
We told Thomas to blow us a kiss and instead he put his hand on Will's mouth so HE could blow us a kiss! What a couple of precious boys!
